Injury Rehabilitation and Sports Training in water
AquaTone – how does it work?
For both water training and rehabilitation, Tony provides you with a buoyancy jacket with a bungee cord which is attached to the end of the pool. The jacket helps to lift you off the base of the pool and the bungee cord provides resistance for running or exercising.
Why is exercise in water so good?
Water is approximately 800 times denser than air and therefore, pool-based exercise allows for high levels of energy expenditure with relatively little strain on the body.
What do I bring to my AquaTone session?
- Swim wear / Towel / A drink / Jacket system supplied
